Independent orthodontics is a new treatment option that The Octagon dental centre is very pleased to announce.
We are sure you are well aware, funding for NHS orthodontics has seen a sharp decline over the past 3 years meaning that parents wanting their children to receive orthodontic treatment, have either to endure lengthy waiting lists, or alternatively commence their treatment privately. We realise that for some parents, private treatment is not an option.
Here at The Octagon dental centre, we would like to ensure as many children as possible are able to receive orthodontic treatment if they need it.
This is also the ideal solution for those children who would not qualify for NHS treatment, were funding available, but who would like to enhance their smile, as well as allowing children to commence their treatment immediately so that it can be completed before they go off to college or university.
Under the independent scheme, your child will still receive the same professional high care and attention from our experienced clinicians.
Patients will be fitted with standard metal braces with treatment lasting 12-18 months. The fee is very similar to the NHS fees determined by the government. It is designed to be simple and affordable. The fee can be spread over 12 monthly interest-free instalments. The fee is all inclusive. This means that it will include all x-rays taken with the latest digital imaging equipment and all other records. There will be no hidden extras and the fee will include retention.
Appointments will be offered between the hours of 9.30-3.00 Mon-Thurs and 9.30-1.00 Fri.
